Roofers in Cribbs Causeway

Cribbs Causeway is a major retail and commercial area in South Gloucestershire, north of Bristol. The name refers to an ancient route across the low-lying land — 'causeway' indicating a raised path across marshy ground, and 'Cribbs' from a local family name. Before development, this was agricultural land at the northern edge of Bristol. The area was transformed in the late 1990s with the opening of The Mall at Cribbs Causeway (now The Venue), one of the largest shopping centres in the South West. The retail park and surrounding developments have made it a major employment and leisure destination.
